What we've been up to... The warm weather has brought a flurry of t-shirt orders. It's been all hands on deck to meet deadlines, with urgent orders for businesses with Trade Stands at the Royal Welsh Show (according to Wikipedia it's the biggest agricultural show in Europe). We've been delivering in the Golden Valley, Hereford city, north Herefordshire and Monmouthshire this week. Further afield orders have been delivered by our courier to Hampshire and Powys. We visited Chelsea Flower Show! Hall Farm Nursery from Shropshire had a stand at this years' Chelsea Flower Show, in association with charity Riding for the Disabled. Many congratulations on your GOLD MEDAL folks, and what smart sweatshirts you are wearing!

Hereford Business Expo We had an extremely busy day at the Hereford Business Expo, organised by the Hereford and Worcester Chamber of Commerce. Taking one of our small embroidery machines in to hall proved a real crowd puller, as we embroidered bees on colourful cotton bags. Thanks to everyone who called by to see us, including Sharon Pocock of Kinder Pocock, Dawn and Chris of Genesis Training, Tim Kidson, Philippa Roberts and Martin Davies of Thorne Widgery.
| Beeline's Twenty Two Thousand Orders This month we have printed and delivered order number 22,000. For this landmark occasion, we presented our lucky customer, Bridges Childcare Ltd, with a bottle of vintage champagne. Bridges Childcare director Lianne Piggott commented the champers has "gone to a good home!". Bridges Childcare is a thriving local business - based just down the road from Beeline at Wormbridge - and is at maximum capacity, entertaining children on their school holidays.

Mid-year price increase: For the second year in a row, garment suppliers have implemented a mid-year price increase, which has taken effect from 5th July. This is due to increased costs with the manufacturers - raw materials (cotton prices have rocketed), labour costs and of course the weak pound against the dollar. In the pipeline... Our New Production Area We are currently in the process of building a new production area and office at our Wormbridge premises. The building work is progressing steadily, and are hoping to be all ready by the end of summer. We plan to have an official opening, along with tours of the new areas, and we will keep you posted as to when this will be happening.
